The Old Ivanhoe footy club is an Australian Rules football team which belongs to the Victorian Amatuer Football Associatation.

The club was founded in 1964 by Old boys of Ivanhoe Grammar School and has since progressed from the cellar of the VAFA to be a strong side amongst A and B section over the past 10 years.

The playing list of the club is made up of mostly Ivanhoe Grammar old boys but has always had a strong contingent of players from elsewhere.

OIGFC fields teams in the seniors, reserves, under 19's and club XVIII competitions.

The senior coach for 2011 is Craig Hunter who has a history of coaching and playing in successful football sides. Jarrod Gieschen and Hayden Heta are the captains of the senior side.

The club trains on a monday and wednesday during pre-season and on Tuesday and Thursday nights during the year.

OIGFC is based at Chelsworth Park off Irvine road in East Ivanhoe.
